Printable Cottagecore Jam Labels

Canning season is in full swing here on the farm! I have about 30 half-pints of jam made up in my cellar right now, and it is so nice to be able to restock the preserves that we used up over winter. We tend to go through a lot of jam and jelly throughout the school year from packing lunches.

The one thing about jam, though, is that it tends to all look the same after a few months of storage. If the jars are not labeled, I can’t tell the difference between blackberry jam or blueberry jam unless I open the jar! We thought it might be nice this year to add some cute cottagecore inspired labels to the fronts of our jars. I love making anything look sweet and flowery!

the art of gifting:

These labels are designed with beautiful illustrated flowers by my mom, Jill. I love the sweet yellow and orange tones, which remind me of the prairie flowers growing here in Iowa in the summer months. We usually see these colors in August! I can’t wait.

It can be such a special gift to give someone a homemade jar of jelly, jam, pickles, or salsa. While we are calling these labels “jam labels” they can be used for any of your homemade canned goods. Or really anything that you make! They would look so cute on a parcel of muffins or pan of cinnamon rolls, too. Gifting something made with your hands can be incredibly meaningful. It shows that you took the time to think of someone else, and that you spent the time making something to grant them a small piece of happiness.

how to print jam labels:

These labels are super easy to print! Simply download the print in our online shop, then save the download to your computer.

Once saved, you will want to print the labels onto a sheet of standard 8.5 x 11-inch printer paper. You may also choose to turn these labels into stickers! If so, just use a sheet of white sticker paper that has not been pre-cut. You can cut out the labels yourself and stick them right onto your jar.
