Under A Tin Roof is a lifestyle, home, and gardening company focused on creating content based around simple living, homesteading, and the creation of quality handmade goods. Founded by mother/daughter duo, Jill and Kayla Haupt.
We are so glad you stopped by. We are Jill and Kayla Haupt, a mother-daughter duo who started a lifestyle brand surrounded by our love handmade items and country living. What started out as a small garden and a flock of six chickens in our backyard turned into the adventure of a lifetime... Welcome to our small family farm, country store, lifestyle blog, online handmade mercantile, and more. Join in on our journey and become inspired to live a more simple and wholesome lifestyle, seasonally.
Come say hello! Our 3.5 acre farm is located in the perfect little spot in eastern Iowa. Come pick from our sustainably grown produce, cut flowers, honey, fresh eggs, and more! We offer a seasonal CSA program, and there is also a country store where you can shop our dry goods and seasonal produce!
Our handmade goods are uniquely perfect for a life lived simply. We create items that are inspired by botanicals and filled with femininity. Our goal is to share products that we personally love using and that make the earth a more sustainable place. We also offer goods fresh from our farm, including beeswax and bulk herbs.
Our blog is all about living a simple life of beauty! From our favorite recipes and researching herbal medicines to our experience growing our own food and preserving a slower paced lifestyle, we hope that our blog inspires others to live a more wholesome and seasonal life every single day.
We want our Country Store to be a place to gather, learn, and embrace our outstanding community. We offer several events throughout the year on our farm as well as attend various festivals, art fairs, and farmer’s markets. Take a look at our events tab or click below to see any upcoming events happening on our farm.
Want to learn how to homestead on a small amount of land, even in the suburbs? How about taking on a new craft like embroidery? We love to teach you new things that enhance your life and create useful tools. We currently offer online courses that you can visit again and again as well as On Farm Workshops.
