I honestly cannot believe that I am announcing this, but my second cookbook The Cottagecore Baking Book is ready to be shared. Wow! What a surreal couple of years it has been. I feel like I have just been going, going, going lately. I love it! I am very lucky in the fact that I absolutely love my work, and it brings me so much joy. I hope that you get some joy from our recipes, too!
The Cottagecore Baking Book will be arriving on book store shelves this upcoming winter on February 6th, 2024. It is currently available for pre-order anywhere books are sold, which you can discover by clicking the button below. How The Cottagecore Baking Book Came to bE:
In case you are new to our content, you might not know that we actually had our first cookbook come out this past June. The Prairie Kitchen Cookbook is my baby, and I just absolutely loved the experience of creating the cookbook, writing it, developing the recipes, and creating the incredible foods and photography. My experience was made all the better with the help of my amazing publisher, Page Street Publishing.
Last winter, we began on the idea of our second book. I knew that I wanted to do something with pretty pastries. In the end, the idea for a book that enveloped the many themes of cottagecore came together. I got to work creating a list of ideas for the inside. It was so difficult to narrow it down to only 60 recipes! My favorite part has to be the planning stage of writing a book. Then, the work comes in of making and testing recipes, writing them, and then finally creating the final photograph. After weeks of work, it is now ready to reveal!

The cottagecore movement is all about returning to a simpler, more sustainable time. And what could be more simple, sustainable, and delicious than home-baked, from-scratch treats and sweets? We do get a lot of questions about if the books are available internationally. They are available in most European countries and across the world. However, the books are currently only available in English. However, they do have metric conversions.
I am just truly so excited to be able to share the news of this cozy baking book with you. I hope that you are excited, too! I feel like I was able to really express myself within these pages and create some recipes that, to me, really give off the essence of my favorite aesthetics within the cottagecore umbrella. I wanted to be creative with my baking and make some things that felt like that had come out of an enchanted forest while also making some delicious patisserie style bakery foods and cozy autumnal hearth recipes. It’s a mix of so many wonderfully whimsical desserts!
