Lemon Rosemary & Cedarwood All Purpose Cleaning Spray

Happy New Year! It’s time get cleaning… or is that just me? I have absolutely loved decorating my little cottage for Christmas, and I think that decorating with natural elements can really help to keep the winter season alive and fresh feeling. For the most part, there are many decorations that I will not be taking down for the next month or so, including some of our fresh green sprigs, sprays, and wreaths. I think the dried oranges are still lovely to have around in January to keep the home feeling fresh and alive, especially during some of the darkest and coldest days of the year. While our tree will come down soon, I think that many natural decor items can stick around until spring rolls around.

But, still, getting a little start on some new cleaning routines and resolutions can be fun. So many people are switching over to natural home cleaning products, and I have loved using them over the past five years. Can’t believe I have been writing this blog for that long! I first wrote about making all purpose spray in this post. Today, I want to share my scent recipe for this Lemon Rosemary & Cedarwood spray. It smells fresh, clean, and like winter all rolled into one!

When it comes to making spray cleaners, you can either dilute with distilled water or simply use a more concentrated version by using only vinegar. I tend to, nowadays, just use vinegar because I know it works well and does not have to compete with the water, which can hold bacteria. Either way, vinegar is a wonderful natural option for cleaning almost your entire home. I use this all purpose spray for many different places in our cottage including countertops and tabletops, windows, floors, and other surfaces. It works so well, and this mix of essential oils makes me feel cozy and clean during these snowy days. I hope that you enjoy this scent as well!
