how the journal came to be:

We have been chatting more and more about how we wanted to make a more self-sustaining income. In case you were unaware, writing this blog and creating our content, both here and on our social media channels, is our source of income as artists. Before, we made an income selling physical products with our handmade store or even when we tried being farmers for a handful of years. As that quickly became very unsustainable for us and our online following grew, we were able to create that income by showcasing ads and sponsored posts from companies that we truly love and enjoy.

The only downside to working with brands is that our income is very unpredictable. That is just part of the job! But we knew that we could create something here on our website that would be beneficial to our audience, and that we had control over creating and sending out into the digital world.

And so… We began creating! How did we want to showcase all of these autumn inspired ideas in a beautiful, whimsical way?

What’s inside the journal:

We began gathering together what we wanted to share with everyone. In many ways, it felt like we were returning to our old blogging days. Blogs really aren’t a thing anymore, are they? At least, not the kind with heartfelt stories and life musings. We love creating videos and the art of vlogging, but we also have a major soft spot for written words! Do you feel the same?

Inside of this journal you will find:

  • Ideas for Storing and Gathering Herbs and Produce

  • Heartwarming Articles on Using our Beautiful, Sentimental Items

  • Delicious Autumnal Recipes

  • Mother Nature Costume Ideas

  • Interactive artwork that you can print and create beautiful household DIYS

  • and more!

how the journal works:

Because this is a digital magazine, it can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home without ever having to head out to the store. While we do have 2 published cookbooks, we are not booksellers nor makers so this is still a new concept for us!

We have been creating and selling ebooks in our online shop for the last year, and it has been so fun to compile those recipes together! The Journal is a similar concept.

You simply order it from our online shop, and it arrives to your email inbox as a PDF file. Download the file, and open the magazine! It can be viewed on your phone, tablet, or computer. The pages can be printed and store in a binder if you like physical pages, and there are multiple pages of artwork that be cut out and used.

how to ordeR:

The Journal is now live and available to purchase in our online shop! You can find it by tapping the “Shop” tab at the top of our website, or by clicking the button below.

The Journal is $12 USD and features some amazing content that I think you are going to love. The magazine arrives as a PDF straight to your inbox and can be downloaded and viewed forever!

It will be available in our shop for all time, so if it’s not a feasible purchase for you right now, then you can certainly order your copy any time that is more suitable for you! (:

I hope that you enjoy it, and we are deeply thankful for your support.

xoxo Kayla
