We love to gift handmade! This super easy to make bath tea mix is the perfect last-minute gift idea for someone special.

I always think that homemade bath and beauty products are wonderful for teachers, neighbors, friends, work gift exchanges, or your parents. Even if they don't like to take baths, it makes a wonderful foot or hand soak, and it looks beautiful on the bathroom shelf! We love packaging homemade bath tea mixes in jars with a cute little ribbon and dried orange slice. I love how it looks out in the Ball® Rose Vintage Quart Jar.

This mix looks absolutely beautiful in the Ball® Rose Vintage Jars! These jars are a new design this year that are inspired by vintage jars. They are a lovely subtle pink color with waves in the glass, and the lid is printed with an antique look. They are just really fun!

I used the quart size for this bath mix, but they also come in pint size!

benefits of this mix:

  • Oatmeal. One of the best natural ingredients for your skin, oatmeal comes packed with many wonderful benefits! It helps to moisturize, cleanse, and exfoliate skin. This was news to me, but apparently oatmeal helps to boost collagen production, improving your complexion and helping with anti-aging. Not to mention that it is anti-inflammatory, which is perfect if you have itchy skin and why it is often recommended for treating chicken pox or poison ivy.

  • Dried Orange Peel. Orange peels help to brighten your skin and improve your youthful complexion. The peels contain citric acid, which can bring about radiance and help to fade discoloration, dark spots, and scarring.

  • Goat’s Milk. Goat milk contains fatty acids, which improves the growth of your skin’s natural flora. It is a gentle exfoliant and contains Vitamin A. If you would like baby soft skin, then try using goat’s milk!

  • Chamomile. Another great anti-aging ingredient, chamomile contains polyphenols and phytochemicals, powerful anti-oxidants. This helps to boost skin cell renewal. Not to mention is smells lovely and can help to calm your nerves!

  • Rosemary. Rosemary is naturally anti-inflammatory and can help to reduce blemishes and acne, tighten your skin, improve the tone, and improves fine lines.
