UATR Embroidery Club | September Club Introduction

Happy Friday, all! Another month has come and gone, and I must say that I am really excited for the entirety of September ahead. It's my favorite month of the entire year, filled with the excitement of autumn, nights spent at high school football games, the promise of an exciting school year ahead (I may still have a tiny desire to be an English teacher), and my birthday is at the end of the month! I think it's just natural to feel this sort of strange connection to the time of year you were born in; I definitely feel like Tad acts differently in the spring than he does at other times, and I am interested to see if his radar is on next spring as well. We have so many awesome things planned for this month! This is actually the first time EVER that I have the entire month's blog posts planned and ready to go... minus photographs. My DSLR is still out for repairs, and it's making me a little antsy. What are you looking forward to most this fall?

Yet again, another great sale of this kit, and we are always so shocked and amazed by your interest in these monthly embroidery pattern drops! THANK YOU. All of these purchases go towards supporting not only our little family but our dreams as well. And you get to make something beautiful to boot! A few announcements for this month's club:

  1. I will not be having any official live sessions on Instagram this month. We are currently prepping for Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio, and that show just needs every ounce of our attention at this time. I may hop on at some point this month, and if I do, I will share a reminder to our Embroidery Club Newsletter and on Instagram as well. If you ever have any questions about the pattern, feel free to shoot me a message!
  2. This kit is not being sold as a digital pattern. It has some unique artwork pieces that are left unstitched (if you prefer), and it just didn't translate well into a digital pattern. I apologize for this, especially if you are living internationally! At this point, we are just still too small to deal with international shipping, and we are hoping to get back on track with that in the near future.
  3. We still love seeing your work! Feel free to share with us and tag us on Instagram using #UATRembroider
  4. This month you'll receive the perfect little travel sack to put all of your supplies in! I absolutely love it, and I have a feeling we will be using them for all embroidery kits from now on!!

Ready for this month's challenge, UATR stitchers?

Every month, I am hoping to host a little challenge for our stitchers so that we may get to know each other better! You also have a chance to win a free kit for next month's pattern. Woohoo! Last month, I asked you which fictional character you related to best. Wow! Some really fun answers from you all.

This month I want to know:  what are you looking forward to most this autumn? Do you go pumpkin or apple picking every year? Is it pumpkin spice lattes or pecan pie? Introduce yourself in the comments and let me know what your favorite fall activity is! Want a BONUS? Tag a picture on Instagram of your Moth Amongst Vervain Hoop in an autumn setting, with pumpkins or apples, or even a hot cup of cider!

I'll pick someone to win October's kit on the first of the month!! (: Be sure to leave your email address in the comment so I know who to contact!

For me, my favorite autumn activities are taking Tad to a local pumpkin farm to visit the animals and take some photos, baking pumpkin pies, and saving autumn leaves in beeswax. Can't wait to read what you love!
