UATR Embroidery Club | July Introduction
Hello, Embroidery Club Friends!
How are you this month? The summer has already begun, and I am suddenly feeling like Christmas is right around the corner. Why does time pass so quickly when we become older? I remember feeling like summer was a year long rather than three short months. Yikes! In other news, I am really excited about this month's pattern. In other news, we are still in shock that July's kit sold out in TWO DAYS. What! You all just ate this one up, and we could not be happier or more humbled. Who knew that a monthly embroidery club would interest you all so much!
I do have to say that I am feeling slightly confused about how to make this space feel like a "club" per say. I sent out a survey to you all through our newsletter asking you about your opinions on commenting here on the blog. The majority of you said that you either forgot that was an option or just didn't feel like saying anything. That's totally okay! I just want to make sure that you're having fun and feeling like you can stay connected. If you have a question, we are always available to answer it, and we want you to feel like you can find other people here on this little internet corner that have the same interests as you. Does that make sense? So this month, I think we're going to try something different. I'll just be posting this introductory post for the month where you can leave a comment if you so choose, whether that's to introduce yourself or ask a question or make a remark. I may also post some updates to the club here on the blog as well in case there is ever something I think needs to be mentioned.
But other than that, I would like to hold any embroidery discussions on Instagram. I made a post on July 1st (that was last Saturday) asking y'all to jump in and introduce yourself, your skill level in embroidery, and let us know where you're joining us from in the world. It was so great to see your responses! And I realized that a majority of you are just hanging out over there on that platform. So, I think that might be the place to connect this little club, here and there. We will see how it goes! But feel free to say hello no matter which platform you are on, and I think the most important place to be hanging out is our Embroidery Club Newsletter.
That is the first place where I will send announcements, freebies, reminders, and announce the release of upcoming patterns. We are a little family over there, and it grows daily! If you missed out on the opportunity to take our survey and receive a discount, then you'll definitely want to be on that newsletter because there will be more special offers like that in the future! We want to make sure that you have all of the tools and information you need to create a beautiful piece of art that you can cherish forever.
Don't forget that when you sign up you receive access to a free video that teaches you 5 Basic Stitches You Need to Know! This will help you get started.
I still cannot believe that this month's kit sold out so quickly. I guess that you all love bees! I love them, too. This month's kit included an exclusive pin cushion printed with some new original artwork by Jill that I think those of you who were able to snatch one will love. If you're upset that you didn't get this month's kit, don't worry! You can still purchase a digital download of the pattern right now. Just click HERE to go get it before it's gone. Don't forget that each month's pattern disappears after the end of the month for good.
So what are you up to this month? Are you excited to start stitching? We'd love to see your work! It doesn't have to be finished; we just enjoy seeing what you are up to. Feel free to tag us on Instagram with #UATRembroider. Head over there and leave a comment or a like for us! We want to know why you love embroidery!
Or say hello down below! We hope you love July's design and learn something new! (:
