Do you have a style muse?

It's drizzling in Kalona on this Wednesday, and all I want to do is crawl under my fluffy, down comforter in sweatpants and listen to the rain. Too bad our first show is this weekend, and I have things that I have to do. It's one of those days where I look into my closet, and I want something that makes me feel put together, yet comfortable and functional. Thanks to Pinterest, I am able to just click through my "style" themed boards and hopefully find something that can inspire my fashion slump.

It's taken a lot of time, (probably about four years worth - yikes!) but I've mostly narrowed down who my fashion muses are. Do you have any? They're women or men who are usually popular in the media that just never disappoint you with their style choices; they always look on point, and you want to be them. I thought I would share some of my favorite muses; the lovely ladies who help me out when I'm shopping, when I'm getting dressed in the morning (or the afternoon, let's be honest).

1. Alexa Chung

Though our body types totally differ, and I will never have baby boobs that look great in menswear, I can't help but love it. And try desperately to wear it. It's a daily struggle. Love you, Alexa.

2. Diane Keaton

What a cool lady! I watched Annie Hall for the first time my junior year of high school and fell in love with Diane quickly after. And her ties. And trousers. I'll probably never wear a tie, but that watch with the black long sleeve shirt and flannel. COME ON, DIANE, YOU BEAUTY. She combines romantic + masculine. I luhrve you. I loahve you.

3. Sofia Coppola

My go-to lady when it comes to style + comfort. She somehow manages to make a plain grey sweatshirt and black slacks look effortlessly chic. My love-hate relationship continues. I blame it on not yet finding the perfect crewneck. Maybe one day...

Who are your favorite style muses?
